Joanna-Women of the bible
This is a name that is both Christian and trendy. It means grace or gift in Hebrew.
Joanna is shown as the wife of Chuza, steward to Herod Antipas while being listed as one of the women who “had been cured of evil spirits and infirmities” who accompanied Jesus and the Apostles, and “provided for Him from their substance.

January Girl
It is VERY COLD in Florida. Who would have guessed. I am not a winter person and therefore have been staying home as much as possible. The cold weather inspired me to do “January Girl”
Be Still and See
Be Still and you will see the light before you eyes.
I love the way this piece turned out.
I painted this with inspiration from Leslie Wood, pyhas 2018.
Sorry I could not get a good pic without some glare.
This piece reminds me of two things.
One it reminds me of the first time I got glasses. I went outside and saw the light. Everything looked so beautiful, the grass so green, the shy so Blue.
Second, it is similar when you become a new Christian. You walk out of the darkness and see the light. You see all the beauty of God’s love around you.
Quote found on Pinterest. Beautiful.
Lilac Girl
“Lilac Girl” was inspired from book I read titled, “Lilac Girls.” I hope this painting inspires women to fight for freedom, love, and second chances. You can also check this painting out on my site.
I added a picture of the book. it is based on real women in history. It is a very powerful and emotional read.

All things are Possible-2018
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”
And God blessed man. Genesis 1:1,27
Blessed is the man who is like a tree planted by streams of water
That yields its fruit in its season,
And its leaf does not wither. Psalms 1:3
Behold, the virgin Mary shall conceive and bear a son,
And they shall call his name Immanuel
(which means, God with us.) Matthew 1:23
My word for 2018 is TRUTH.
My wish for this year is a new beginning, a blessed year.
A year we attain wisdom, understanding, and truth.
May this year bear much fruit.
May I stay in the word and through the word know and live these principles.
This is my goal for 2018.
