Marie Laveau, who is known at the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans was married at 18 to Jacques Paris. He died of mysterious circumstances and by the time she was in her 20’s she was known as Widow Paris. This name is also etched on her grave which has become a popular tourist attraction. Many condemned her as a witch while others praised her as a saint. She died on June 15, 1881 and is buried in St. Louis Cemetery.
Just finished this coaster I received as a gift.
February 16th was my Wedding Anniversary. Therefore, I did not post a new piece of art. My husband and I went out to eat for our 11 years together. Time sure has flown by.
Thank you God for blessing me with this man in my life. One of the reasons I married David is because he was a gentleman. I love that he still is after 11 years. He always opens the door for me.
I look forward to see what is in our future together.
