Can you cure cataracts naturally?

I turned 58 in July and then a few weeks later I found out I had glaucoma and lost some of my sight in the center of both eyes. Being an artist this was not easy to learn. I have been a healthy person most of my life and am not use to having heath issues.

God is very loving and gracious. I was doing jewelry design for about 10 years but a few years ago I decided to go back to my roots and started painting and making less jewelry. Being a abstract mixed media artist I can still paint even with the loss of some of my eyesight. I have given up making jewelry but not my passion for creating art.

I just went back for a checkup on my eyes. In 6 months I have lost more sight and found out I have cataracts on top of the glaucoma. It was a shock and scary but I know God has a plan, therefore I will trust and not fear.

I have decided to try healthy alternatives to see if this will improve my eyesight. I am trying smoothies that are suppose to help with eyesight.

Today is day one in this journey. I just made my first smoothie. It actually does not taste bad. The recipe called for coconut milk and I used almond milk instead.

I will keep you updated on how this goes. If you have any suggestions or know of something natural that has helped to improve your eyesight I would love to know.

Three Tea Bag Ladies (God’s gifts)

I am so excited to introduce you to my three wonderful Tea Bag Ladies.

Tea Bag Lady #1- Peace

Peace has such a wonderful soul. Come on in and sit at her kitchen table. She will fix you a cup of green tea, listen to you, and give you comfort. She would love to become friends with you. You just got to get to know her.

Peace was made from a green tea bag , vintage religious music papers, acrylic paints, on a 6×6 canvas.

Tea Bag Lady #2- Joy

Joy is always singing praises to her Lord and Savior. She is on her way to Sunday service but anytime you pass by her house she is usually outside working in her gorgeous flower bed just a singing praise songs. If you stop by and say hi she will be glad to share all she knows about flowers, give you a sweet smelling bouquet and add a little joy to your life.

Joy is made using a tea bag, vintage religious music paper, vintage writing, acrylic paints, and on 6×6 canvas.

Tea Bag Lady #3- Love

Love is so fun. She is exciting and full of energy. She is always willing to help with anything you need. She is one of those neighbors who loves to cook and is always bRinging you over one of her wonderful dishes to try just because. She is a wonderful friend that you need in your life. You have just got to get to know this wonderful lady.

Love made using tea bag, vintage papers, acrylic paints, on a 6×6 canvas.

I had so much fun doing this mixed media collage. Thank you for the inspiration PYHAS2018.

Joanna-Women of the bible

This is a name that is both Christian and trendy. It means grace or gift in Hebrew.
Joanna is shown as the wife of Chuza, steward to Herod Antipas while being listed as one of the women who “had been cured of evil spirits and infirmities” who accompanied Jesus and the Apostles, and “provided for Him from their substance.

Be Still and See

Be Still and you will see the light before you eyes.

I love the way this piece turned out.

I painted this with inspiration from Leslie Wood, pyhas 2018.

Sorry I could not get a good pic without some glare.

This piece reminds me of two things.

One it reminds me of the first time I got glasses. I went outside and saw the light. Everything looked so beautiful, the grass so green, the shy so Blue.

Second, it is similar when you become a new Christian. You walk out of the darkness and see the light. You see all the beauty of God’s love around you.

Quote found on Pinterest. Beautiful.
