As I drive to work each morning I cross over this 3 mile bridge that has the most spectacular views of the water. It is my time to take a deep breath, draw in the beauty around me and thank God for all the things he has provided in my life! As I was admiring his beauty these word came to me and I wanted to share them with you. The picture of the clouds is a photo I took while walking along the beach. I hope it brings you encouragement. Jesus is always there for you just breathe in his word each morning before you start your day, breathe in his spirit to help guide you as you go through your day, breathe in his life to help you be more like him as you walk in your journey, breathe in his beauty that is all around you if you just look for it, and breathe in his LOVE that is always there to comfort you and give you peace and joy even in times of trouble and hardship.
I miss all my blogger friends and fans. sometimes I just let work and life get away with me. What do I mean by that? Well I go to work every day, come home do chores, cook, etc,,, then go to bed and start over the next day, without really taking the time to relax, enjoy my life, and keep in touch with you guys, who inspire me, make me feel good, and are just fun to hang out with.
That being said with the sun out and the beginning of spring I am determined to start anew.
I got out yesterday for the first time in a very long time and walked on the beach.
I forgot how much I enjoyed walking on the beach. The smell of the salt air, the warmth of the sun on my face, and the cool water and sand between my toes. I thank God that I am able to enjoy these gifts. I walked three miles yesterday. It was very calming and relaxing. Something I needed way more than I realized.
Today, when I woke up I was determined to get that morning walk in again.
Today as I walked the beach, the waves were beating against my legs. I stopped and talked to a couple of fishermen and today the fish were not hungry. Today was so different than yesterday, I was wondering if I was ever going to make three miles. I had to push myself, my hamstrings are sore, but you know what, I did it and am so glad I did.
I walk half way on the beach itself then turn around and walk on the sidewalk coming back. As I am walking I always say hello to everyone I meet along the way. Sometimes I am amazed how many people don’t answer back. The clouds were gorgeous in the sky today so maybe they were all looking up to heaven thanking God for the opportunity to see his beauty.
